Photoshop Classes
Adobe’s Photoshop software products are a mainstay of digital photography, and learning how to “tame” those tools is an important part of a digital photographer’s set of skills. Working in a small group or individually can give the student the insight needed to turn creativity into memorable prints.
Introduction to Photoshop - September 11 and 18, 2010, 1:00 pm—4:30 pm — NOTE DATE CHANGE!
This class is designed for photographers who have never worked with Photoshop but want to start using the software tool effectively with their photography. It's based on Photoshop Elements, Adobe's general-purpose image editor aimed at photo enthusiasts.
The class covers the essentials needed to start using this excellent program to produce high-quality prints, including sizing, cropping, levels, layers, sharpening, color corrections, and printing fundamentals.
The two Saturday sessions are very hands-on, with sample files for classroom work and a “homework” assignment between class sessions. Class size is capped at four students, to permit time for personal attention and students’ questions.
Tuition for either class is $225. You can download the brochure here; to register by email, click here.
Advanced Individual Photoshop Instruction - by appointment

One-on-one sessions will be scheduled at the student’s choice of time and location. Tuition is $105/hour, with a two- hour minimum block, or you can purchase a 6-hour package for $525.
